Has anyone had any problems staying logged in to their account? I have always had to come into the forums and login, no matter if I had cookies on or "remember me" was checked. No matter what, I always had to login. I had always thought it was my browser but went and changed some of the forum's cookie settings and I think its working again. Has anyone had this problem? You guys gotta speak up about this kind of stuff!

I personally haven't had any issues with the "remember me" function... so no problems here! :)

It's weird, on my lap top, I am always signed in when ever I visit, but on my desk top, I have to sign in every time even with the "remember me" option selected.

I have no problem at home, I'm always signed in.

At school, however, I always have to sign in. Yet again, I'm not sure if I normally check the "remember me" box.

Same exact thing would happen to me but I think I got it figured out.

Well, I did change the settings a few days ago and my problems have gone away. Just checking to see if I was alone before that. Haven't changed anything with my system, just the forum settings.

You don't happen to use Firefox, do you? I've had issues a few times using Firefox, where IE works absolutely fine on the same computer without changing any settings.

I use Firefox, and haven't reported any problems. But apparently, Brandon fixed it for himself.

Nope, I use Safari on a Mac. To me that sounds like you have cookies disabled in Firefox, or have the old cookie stored (before I made the fix) and you're running off of it.

Brandon,

Now I have a problem with logging out. When I go to log out, it says all the cookies have been cleared. If I return to the forum index, it says I'm logged in.

Just thought you ought to know. I personally never log out, so it doesn't matter much to me. I stumbled upon this while just click around.

Have you recently cleared out all of the cookies on your machine? Most likely you have two cookies, one before the changes, one after the changes, and logging out is only deleting the most recent one.

Ah. Okay.

I should have thought of that.

Thanks, I was just curious.
