Post a photo you took

Lets try something here. It'll either work or it wont. On some forums, people post a picture they took (usually to show off photography work, not just a candid shot of friends or something like that, but I guess that'd be fine too!).

I know Stacy will like this thread! We'll see if it works.. if not.. then there's a thread with some pretty pictures to look at.

Just some rules: Don't post more than one picture at a time (spread them out), be sure to always resize your pictures to a reasonable size and keep it appropriate.

Haha, I'm sure you've got plenty of pictures that can whoop mine. I believe the Nikon D40 kits have gone down in price these days (like $475 new?) and are pretty affordable (although they only come with the 18-55mm lens, which is pretty solid but not good for long zooms, especially with no digital zoom on the D40 body). I'd like to snatch up a D300 but that is a quite a ways out of my price-range.

Looking upward at the Wells Fargo tower in Houston, which is the second tallest building in Texas and the 13th tallest building in the United States.

When this building was completed in 1982, it was gave the city of Houston the world's third tallest skyline after Chicago, IL and New York City. Enjoy the view!

Yes, host it off site (photobucket or flickr are good choices), click the yellow photo icon (next to the link icon) when creating a new post and include the URL to the photo on the external site. To make it the exact width of the page, use timg tags instead of img tags, ie. [t*img]url[/t*img] (remove the stars).

Wow. I'm loving the pics. The pics at SFoT with Mr Freeze and B:TR running right next to eachother looks awesome. I also like the pic of Hydra as well. The colors are very nice and vivid.

Some great pictures... thanks for sharing them with us. If you guys don't mind, please try to keep it to only one or two pictures a post (make as many new posts as you'd like), that way the forum will automatically paginate based on new posts and keep the number of pictures per each page down (so it'll load faster for the folks with slower internet).
