and so far I like it! I've been looking for a website with a lot of information on Fiesta Texas but I could never find one. This is the perfect place! Well, since I am new, I just wanted to say hello to everyone! So, HI! :). Also, I was wondering if anyone had any tips for starting out? And I would also like to meet any photographers for Fiesta Texas because I've always wanted to take pictures for them but never knew how to get started!

Welcome to the forum. As far as photos is concerned, I will point you in Stacy's direction. Stacy is the site photographer/associate editor and you will see a lot of her excellent work around here.

Well, The photography person here is Stacy. She takes some really nice photos and it's with a really inexpensive camera. Look around on this website and click on 'Goliath Opening Day Photos" on the main page.

Ask lots of questions and you will get lots of answers. Sometimes, you're question's answer is on another thread or topic.

Brandon is the Chief Developer & Partner; Stacy is the Associate Editor & Photographer. Really great people. As well as other really great members.

I have taken some photos which turn out as good as Stacy's. Probably not as good but up there. I recently lost some due to a laptop fire. So I have never posted them here.

Hi Sarah... we are happy you found us, and glad you are here- so, WELCOME!

Those of us on this site who take photos do so for our own enjoyment and for sharing here, but are not affiliated with Six Flags Fiesta Texas in any way.

I do not know for sure, but I don't think Fiesta Texas employs "photographers", from the standpoint of job description (exclusive of the Kodak photographers). If I had to guess, from what I do know, members of the PR and Entertainment staff take care of the park's own photography needs.

With respect to the site here, Brandon and I do provide the majority of the photography needed for the site. However, I also know that Brandon has used a photo or two of other members on occasion, under certain circumstances.

As for the rest of you, with respect to your comments about my photography, thank you. Y'all are way too kind. :o

I also provided a couple of photos years ago myself. I still take photos there when I make the two-hour drive to the parks but just for personal enjoyment....not obligated to the site.

My advice to you would be if you have a digital camera, take it with you to the park and just start snapping shots of anything there (rides, shows, shops, dining stalls or anything else that is of interest). If you'd like, I can show you some of my photos I took last year. I'm hoping to make it out there sometime next month to take shots of Goliath.
