I started on the 4th, now even though I start early, it isn't that bad...Cause when the 04-05 year ends, I might be going to Cedar Point.

Can someone tell me when most people have Fall Break in San Antonio, since I will be there during mine, for SWSA and SFFT.

Fall break? I don't think I have that. Unless you mean during Thanksgiving which is all that week we are off.

I got my schedule today. We had like a orientation (AKA Fish Camp to Brandon) for the incoming freshman in high school. This is what i got. It sucks to have spanish and healt at the beginning, but i guess it is better to get it over with at the beginning of the day.

1. Spanish 1
2. Health
3. Pre AP Geometry
4. IPC
5. English 1
6. World Geography
7. Athletics

I guess yall don't have fall break. We basically have a week off in the beggining of October, and a Spring Break during April. So I'll be heading to SFFT either on the 2nd or the 3rd.

HS is over rated. I promise. By your Junior year you'll just be wanting to finally get out, if not by your sophmore year.

Brandon

Couldn't have said it any better myself..

Brandon

Colin

I really have a lot of homework this weekend. I also dislike my Spanish teacher. It is going to be a long school year for me.

Brandon
08-28-2004, 10:16 PM
How much is a lot? I get atleast an hour and a half everynight, if not 2.

Colin
08-29-2004, 12:12 PM
I don't know, maybe a couple hours. Then there are those nights where you have a project due the next day...those are some long nights. Any homework is too much for me though.

What is everyone's favorite subject here?

Mine has to be mathematics, because it has always been, by far, the easiest subject for me. I really like working with numbers, formulas, equations, and such, and I've been naturally getting the material down with relative ease. And even now as I've had several advancd engineering mathematics courses already, the challenge of the more complexity of the subject makes it even more enjoyable for me.

I used to dislike science before high school, because it was mostly all reading and vocabulary and it wasn't very much fun. Then starting in high school and since then, I've learned a lot more by conducting experiments and even applying math to it, now I like lots more than I did before.

Colin

I have to agree and say math. It has also been the easiest for me. It gives me homework that does not take long. :P Least favorite has to be science. I have never been good in it.

Brandon
08-29-2004, 08:54 PM
Would have to go with Science for the moment... then again I only have the same 3 classes a semester. So between spanish & english 2, i'm gonna have to go with science.

James
08-29-2004, 09:35 PM
i hate math and i hate numbers. science can be interesting, just depends on the subject. favorite subject right now would be... hmph... probably my anatomy and physiology class.

EDIT: I take that back, my favorite class is American History... i love history for the most part.

When you take Chemistry and Physics classes in high school and afterwards, you might start to enjoy science a liitle more. I personally didn't enjoy science that much until I was in high school.

And if you also like math, then you'll probably like physics as well, which is for the most part applied mathematics; if you get to take engineering physics in college, then it is all purely applied mathematics.
