What your opinion on File-Sharing? Should people be fined and sent to jail for it?

There is nothing wrong with file sharing. There is something wrong with some of the people doing it. (I'm one of those people. Just not with music. B))
And, if you're smart, you know to stay away from Kazaa (or even Kazaa Lite.) It's all on BitTorrent, baby!

Most artists don't even care believe it or not.
Here are some facts...
-4/100 songs are actually released to radio stations' "playlists"
-Viacomm owns the top 5 music labels in the industry
-90% of all artists on this label earn no profit...they earn most of their money from performances
In that aspect, why would you want people to buy them in the first place other than to hear your music? Hence the System of a Down cd entitled "Steal This Album"

Exactly.. most even go into debt if they don't make enough off of performances for releasing an album
