Not that these topics were active in the first place, but I figured since they're so slow, we might as well just combine all of them into one. So, here's the list of all the changes to the park for the 2005 season. Comment if you'd like. Add something to the list I'm missing. Whatever.

additions:
- another train. A few seasons back we had two trains, Miss Kitty and Gretta, and then we sold Gretta to someone which was our better train btw and now we're buying Gretta back so we'll have two trains running on the tracks this season.

extractions:
- will Wipeout finally leave? doubt it, but you never know. If not, it will still be SBNO

modifications:
- Der Twister's getting fixed so it will be running these season
- Poltergeist's train(s) will be fixed up. Hopefully trainS to we can have two running this season.
- Frisbee was taken apart, "spiffied" up, and put back together, and now it's seats, headrests and shoulder harnesses have been repainted. I hear it looks very nice! Not sure if the structure and gondola were repainted, but yay for frisbee.

footnotes:
- I don't know if we're having automated spiels after all... I guess I'll find out Saturday during training. I'm thinking it was just a rumor amongst the supervisors that was talked about possibly happening by some of the "higher ups" or something. Oh well, it's just auto spiels. . .
- I'm hoping other things besides Frisbee's harnesses and seats were painted. Not necesarilly rides, but even buildings and what not.

Just FYI, Gretta was not sold and being bought back but was loaned to the Six Flags park in Atlanta. Also the automated spiels are kind of true. They are not at all the rides but are at a few more than last year. They added auto spiels to Rattler, Poltergeist, and Roadrunner

Yeah I was clarified with the whole Gretta thing on another message board (Lone Star Thrills). I guess I just forgot to clarify that here, too. But thanks. As for auto-spiels, cool beans hot rice.

- Wipeout didn't leave. It's still sitting there.

- Der Twister is getting fixed, but MAY not be open on opening day. Maintainence is calling Germany as we speak! :P Poltergeist has also just been sitting there. Haven't seen any training on it. Maintainence was in a cherry picker working on it today. Hopefully they will both be open. If not, I'd rather have guests know it's not than buying a ticket and seeing that Der Twister, Poltergeist, and anything else that may not be ready isn't open on the first day and be mad about it. Just keep in mind, Fiesta Texas has plenty of other thrilling rides to enjoy and fun new shows.

- Only the harnesses on Frisbee were painted. Bright yellow! looks gooood!

- Much more was painted besides Frisbee's harnesses. From what I observed this past weekend, other than Frisbee's harnesses:
- The back head-rest of Superman's trains were painted bright red
- The "Fiesta Bay Boardwalk" entrance sign was painted Red, White, and Blue
- random painted railings. lookin' schnazzy!
- lots and lots of buildings in Spassburg have been painted, amongst other areas of the park. I noticed in Spassburg espeically. I guess because I was in Spassburg all day...lol OH WELL. At one point though, I could just smell paint in the park. It's going to look spiffy! :D

Aside from the updates on the updates...

- Poltergeist got new quiet wheels. Can't even hear it anymore! ;)
- Boomerangs lift hill got lights. I don't think they were there before, right? lol
- new games section in Spassburg. Well not a big section like the one next to Superman, but it's a row of new games.
- new game in front of "Scream!"
- Wax Hand Shop only lasted one season. They're changing that building into something else. Don't know what yet...
- Errr... new shows. lol
- new lights along a pathway in Spassburg (lol... extremley minor, but whatever...)

I guess that's it. Good stuff. Better come to the park!

Just to let you know Boomerang had lights but they never use them. And it is good that they added new games and paint to the park. :D

I didn't know Boomerang had lights on it. Oh well. Nice paint is always good. I think SFOT got paint last year and it made the park look better.

I think I know what xcelleration is going to be about. I was watching a commercial on SFFT season passes. They said come see our new show Xcelleration. During the time they said the name, I could see some skaters and some bike riders like ride around. So maybe this is going to be a stunt show or something like that. When I saw the acrobats in Zaragoza Theatre last year, I don't know if the stage is big enough to hold a stunt park. I may be wrong. I know there was a lot going on during the acrobat show. So maybe they can pull it off. That is my best guess after seeing the commerial. Anyone else see the same commercial?

I was at the park on Saturday to get my family their passes and when I asked a person with a radio at the Rockville Show if the new show in Zaragosa was a Stunt Show with bikes and they said, "You will have to come and see, we never just do a Stunt Show, this show is like no other."

After seeing what they did with the Circo show and Acrobats, I bet it will be more than a stunt park. I get the impression it is going to be big.

I was wondering why Polty doesn't take pics of the front or back seats. My friend was kind of upset about that. Not a big deal though. Just wondering...

The water by superman looks cleaner than before (the water by the lift)
