Thoughts On The Park So Far?

I wish we could have gotten down there for spring break, although circumstances (work) and finances prohibited a trip this year. Any thoughts on how the park looks/feels from those who did get a chance to go?

I was at the park this week, that's for sure. I doubled from 9 - 9 every single day except Sunday, but I came in at 130. What can I say, I love my job, I guess. Anyhoo, considering I was there the most (lol), I think it's safe to trust me when I say it's lookin great! There's still of course more painting that should be done, but everything they did do over the offseason was awesome. Oh yeah we have misters! (Well... one... next to Scream!) That's my new favorite place to go on 15 minute breaks. ;) Ya'll need to come out to the park ASAP.

Unfortunately, it looks like it will be late July before logistics allows for a trip. I'm already bouncing off the walls waiting!
Good to hear how good the park looks and the misters sound wonderful ... especially in late July!

I didn't want to go during Spring Break because I figured it would be packed. Was it?
Then I thought about taking my friend today, but figured the same thing. I guess I am too spoiled with short lines. ^_^

Well, as I mentioned in my trip report, weather kept us from hitting all of the park during our trip, but what we saw of the park looked wonderful. Our friends, who had never been there before, were also very impressed.

Misters come in two varieties. One is simply an area which you stand under or walk by, where mist is being sprayed into the air. The more advanced type combines a mister with a high powered fan.
