I voted for RCT. I have played and own many other games, but none compare to RCT.

I like RCT as a strategy and financial game. Its great to have endless possibilities with an entire park. However I voted No limits because it has endless possibilties for building accurate recreations and great original coasters. Plus its the software in which ican make coasters the smoothest and not so choppy. Scream Machines is really cool because of its infinate options and track styles as well as trains (more than RCT) but the rides are just too choppy in the end with no way to smooth them out. RCT is a great game but since this poll is for SIMULATORS. I vote No Limits.

This is sort of off topic, but how come theres no WaterPark Tycoon yet? I mean.. Theres Golf Course, Cruise (i have it), Skatepark, and everything you name, they have it. But no waterpark tycoon.

Id like to see them have waterpark tycoon combined with the RCT. like make an expansion of all water stuff. All sorts of slides and stuff and have it be a RCT2: Wacky Waters or something cheezy like that but all it is is waterpark stuff. Id definantly buy that. BUT FIRST I WANT MORE FLAT RIDES, INTAMIN ROCKET COASTER, POV (heh..), REAL LIM COASTERS, AND IMPROVED FEATURES ON ALREADY EXSISTING RIDES (like the zero G roll, dive loop, pretzel loop, that sorda stuff.)

Same here.

I mean.. Some of these Tycoon games are just stupid. But some are actually bearable. This cruise ship tycoon i have gets incrediably boring and has no moral, but, i mean, you never get tired of RCT, and i think it would be the same for a waterpark tycoon.

RCT2 does have a real LIM launched style.

James

no it doesnt. The launched ride you're thinking of doesnt use LIMs. It just has a powered launch. Like the classic shuttle loopers use. The original RCT had real LIM coasters, im not sure why the new one doesnt.

on the next Expansion for RCT they should add lap bars to LIM Trains.

I think that would be just a waste of time when they could be adding new flat rides. Actually come to think of it.. They just came out with an editor for making your own working flat rides with guests. Probably impossible to use but there are a few rides out.. i think you can get it at http://www.rct2.com

I couldn't agree more. RCT has more elements of realism that add to the overall effect of the game.

Personally I'm a Unreal Tournament fan myself though...lol...not much of a Sims guy, but I did like playing RCT 1 & 2.

Hope it is not as complicated as all the other 3D ones. The reason i love RCT 2 is because it si not too complicated.....

Colin

The problem with me is I can never finish a park! I always seem to lose interest! But, yes, i also hope it not as complicated because rct was easy to learn.

I am thinking that i have to change my mind here. I like No Limits now since i have been playing the DEMO for about 3 days or so. The game is addicting. I think that RCT would be an awesome game it is had the roller coaster design in NL. Then the game will be the BEST.

Colin

Well if you like the demo then you will probably LOVE the real game. Although i havent played the real version, most people seem to enjoy it and say how great it is.

Brandon

I have the full version. It was ok at first, then it just got boring for some reason... maybe you will feel differently.

Colin

Well I dont have the full version, but making the coasters looks too complicated for me. I guess just making coasters and riding them can get old after awhile.

Yeah.. I saw that a few weeks ago. There are some videos that reveal alot of nice flat rides (e.g. topscan and topspin with fountains.)

It looks promising.
