What a grim and frightening event. We are getting more and more of the evacuees here in our neck of the woods and, thankfully, our community is responding with all sorts of efforts to help out.
But so many of these people have no where to go and nothing but the clothes on their backs. It is just overwhelming.
We should all be praying for them, as they are facing months of trouble ahead.

And just as a side note, has anyone noticed the steady 10 cents rise in gas the past few days? Well, it was about 2.49 and the beginning of the week and we hit 2.89 out here. In town, its already over $3.00
