I had an athsma attack today... And I don't have athsma! It was during P.E. And My throat just closed up! I could not breathe. I wnt to the doctor and he said If it Happens again it means I have athsma. Well It happened today agin 3 times. I'm Taking perscription pills for 5 days. After the 5 days if it happens again I will need an Inhaler. Bad part is that im in track.

Wow.. thats supprising especially if you didn't know you had Athsma. You should be able to still run track but will have to have an inhaler. What are you running?

Scary is the word, but in many cases asthma is treatable if you follow the care program. My stepson's half-sister (its complicated) has asthma, uses an inhaler and is very active in high school athletics. She just has to be careful. I hope the same is the case for you. Good luck!

I started track the other day. I normally run the short stuff. 100 meters. 400 Meter Realy. All that. I think I am going to long jump and triple jump also.

Yup.. our track has been going for about 3 weeks now. I was lucky to sustain an ankle injury the second week, so I've been taking it pretty easy lately. Running long distance this year and its pretty bad so far.. our usual work out everyday is 1) a mile warmup 2) 3 800m 3) 3 400m 4) 3 200m 5) a mile cooldown.

I just got back from our meet. I ran the 100 meter dash, 800 meter relay and did triple jump. There was two divisions. Texas and Lonestar. We were in the Lonestar which is like a division. Mostly all the 5A teams were Texas and the 4A Lonestar.
I got 2nd in the Triple Jump out of 5 lol. 34' 10". That is not that great of a jump. I have only practiced the Triple Jump once this whole week. Hopefully I will get it up to the high 30's.
Next I ran the 100 meter dash. I did good. My time was 12.09. My personal best so far. (I believe). I got 3 overall. I was very happy with this.
Finally, I was the starter in the 800 Meter Realy. I really don't like running the 200. I had a slow time. We got 3rd overall. I don't remember our time. Oh well.
We didn't have time to put in a sprint relay, tho we won our divison. So it was all good.

Just got back from the first track practice. I got a cramp and a sprained muscle. We did a 100m 5 times. The havy ball thing, and they are digging the pit for the Pole Volt.

Well, our meet was on Saturday. Had to be there at 8 am and it was pouring so they delayed it three hours and it ended up going till like 6. Girls placed first, and guys placed like 5th out of 9 or 10 schools that were there. We have a meet this weekend in lockhart or something (bus leaves at 6 am saturday morning) and I won't be there. I'll be down in SA for a few days.

I didn't go to Wednesdays track meet a Stevens cause I didn't go to practice on Monday so I couldn't get a event. But for next weeks meet I will do the 800m relay, Pole Vault, and 400m Hurdles. Hopefully by then I'll have me Albuderal inhaler. Some guy from Texas A&M was at our P.E. class today. I wonder what he was doing?

400m Hurdles? Are you talking about the 300m Hurdles? I think only college and pros run the 400m+ hurdles. We have a meet at our school this saturday.
