If anyone was wondering what was up with the forums today, they were hacked. I'm pretty sure my forum account was "bruteforced" (technical term), which allowed the hackers to get into the administrator panel for the forums.
At no time did the hackers have access to any of your private information (such as your passwords... they are stored in another database and are encrypted).
We regained control of the forums quite easily actually. The hackers banned James (and made some modifications to his accounts), and changed my password to lock me out. Luckily, they forgot to change my email address and I was able to change my password via the "forgot password" function. I deleted sessions and restored the database. There were a few problems with the restoration, and they have been fixed now.
