What is your idea on Illegal Immigration? I personally think that they should allow Mexicans into the U.S. Canada has the worlds largest un-protected border and they don't have as much problems as the U.S. I am Going to skip school on moday and the scheduled May 1st. They say that no Latinos are going to work or to school that day in the U.S. They want to see what it would be like have a day without Mexicans.

It's because Canada isn't connected to Mexico like the U.S. is. So all the latino's are skipping monday and on May 1st to see what its like with out mexicans? Eh.

I think the guest worker program is the only viable option.
1. There is no way to remove an estimated 12 million people from the United States, certainly not permanently.
2. There is no way American businesses could afford to pay for the new workers to fill those 12 million spots.
3. Building a wall across the Texas/Mexico border would be far more expensive than we could afford to man and maintain 24-7, would never work and, even if it did, would turn the border into armed camps.

As bad as this may sound, it has more to do with the country the border is connected with than anything else. Crossing between European Union countries is like crossing through states here. You don't even have to stop. If you have a country with tons of problems connected to one of the wealthiest nations in the world, the border needs to be protected.

I attended the march today at downtown. Thousands of kids without parents cause they were deported. Very sad indeed.
