Just as an FYI -- slide parts arrived last weekend at the park and I passed by White Water Bay this weekend and saw a lot being worked on. The new entrance looks pretty complete now. Looks very nice! And the slides are beginning to be pieced together. Sorry I can't take pics, I'm always working. And when I'm not at work, I prefer not to be there. It's like going to work on your day off. Heh. Sorry, but if anyone goes out there to take some pictures, we'd be more than happy to put them up here on the site. Anyhow, just wanted to throw that out there.

From RRE's brake run today I could see a ton of parts for Whirlpool and Big Bender, and supports have been put up very close to RRE.

Thanks RCT Man. I was actually going to take my camera to work today because I have a walk I take everyday around my area and WWB is right next to my route, but I remembered I left my camrea with my friend Michelle. Anyhow, the waterpark is looking nice! The store is open at the main entrance and next weekend is the grand opening (believe it or not, they still have a big load of work to do though.) Anyone going next weekend?

Do they realy expect to open the new WWB next weekend? I guess they could if they worked hard enough. One thing I liked was the new enterence, I didn't get a pic of it though. And the old 2006 maps show the new slides being far from Road Runner, when they are actualy right next to it. Those pics were from the RRE brake run. Hope you don't mind me posting on-ride pics.

I highly doubt the rides will open next weekend along with the rest of the waterpark. From the images you showed us, there is still a LOT of work to do like finish the slides, pumps, etc. and landscape. As a personal guess.. I'd say atleast a month longer, but I could be wrong.

I was at the park today turning in a resume for a positon for a different department, but anyways, I was looking at the slides for a sec and they're coming along just from yesterday. So... I dunno who knows. MAYBE they'll do it if they work looong hours this week.

I went to the park on saturday. Looking good. I quite like the new entrance. The slides seem to be coming along nicely, but not nearly done.

Question about the new entrance. How does it work? In the past, you could enter the water park through the side, closest to boom, and by going through that shop right there. It was pretty stupid to have an enterance and exit going right through the shop. It was chaos all over the place in there. People probably have stolen a lot of stuff. Hopefully the shop is gone or moved. I'm pretty sure I am going to the park tomorrow for the first time this year, and I check it out and see. I am sure some of yall know. I hope I can take some picture.

Wow! Great job Brandon! The water park looks great! Super photos too. I don't know if we'll have time to do White Water Bay this year, as we plan on coming during the afternoon again, but it looks like they did a first class job getting it up and running. What do you think so far?

I personally think the water park has improved quite a bit. It feels complete now and appeals to about everybody.

The new slides look good. They look... "fresh"? I mean in terms of color and apearence. I really like the new enterence.
