I didn't get to reach you on AIM, so Happy Birthday. Sorry, it's a little late. :P

Thank you both. It wasn't quite as exciting as my 26th birthday last year when I went on an impromptu storm pursuit near Amarillo during a long road trip.

Actually I was just by myself on a road trip from Amarillo to Oklahoma City, when just as I left Amarillo during the early evening hours, I saw a multicell thunderstorm about 40 to 60 miles away, east of me and I happened to be heading towards it on I-40, while the storm system headed south. I saw what had looked to be an clear, defining anvil top and a pretty intense lightning show too. I made some stops on the way to get a better look and take a few pictures. Unfortnuately all I had on me was my camera phone, and the pictures didn't really come out all that well.

It was just a road trip I had to make, the storm pursuit was just unexpected.

Thank you Colin.

This year, something has happened that I never imagined happening on my birthday.....a major terrorist strike.

You may have heard about the series of successive subway bombings in Bombay, India that killed over 200 lives and injured at least 714 people on the 11th. Sadly that day will from now on be infamous in India, especially since that is where my parents are from.

This is strange...

9/11/01 - New York
3/11/04 - Spain
7/11/06 - Mumbai (Bombay)

Then...

7/21/05 - London

Weird...

And some people say WWIII is coming up....with Israel and the middle east.
