View Full Version : I put in my two weeks!

After working at SFFT since January of 2004, I've finally called it quits! It's really weird knowing my last day is only 14 days away (August 27th) and 5 of those aren't even working days! So for the few of you who used to bump into me at the park, I won't be there anymore. I'm quitting because I'm moving to Seguin on August 19th for college (TLU) and gas money is TOOOOO expensive. My whole paycheck almost would be spent on gas money and it's just time for me to have fun in college. I'll have a weekend job in Seguin somewhere. I want to go back next summer just for the summer as a team member in rides because I know I'll miss operating rides on some level. :o Or perhaps go work in Operations Base if they let me. Anyhow, it was a fun almost 3 years! I think I had a nice run. :rolleyes: :p I'm going to miss a lot of it though!

I know they are going to miss you, and hopefully you will still be around the boards!

Aww man. Good luck with college. Gas prices are rediculus. It was 2.56 at HEB today. And that was just regular unleaded.

Yeah I'll get in free because I still have like 12 comp tickets. Plus friends work there who will get me in next season. After that, I won't be in the US anyways so I don't care about getting in for free.

And Txnheart -- Don't feel bad, I'm finally free! lol. It feels really good to not be employed there anymore. I don't worry about drama, lifers or whether or not I'm going to have a job the next day because everyone gets fired for BS.

...but that's where I stop that. lol.
