As the Spurs await the winner of the Cavs/Pistons, a lot of people in the area are already planning a Finals game. Anyone here planning on going to one of the games? Game One is next Thursday June 7. Since my team was eliminated in the first round (by the same Jazz team that the Spurs knocked out last night), I've been pulling for the Spurs ever since.

If anyone here does go to a game or (if the Spurs win the Finals) to the parade at the Riverwalk, let us know how it turned out. As much as I'd like to go to a Finals game, I really want to see the Riverwalk parade more.

I want to really try to go to game 6, as I feel that will be the game in which the Spurs claim their 4th championship.

Go Spurs! I'll be watching every play of the finals!

I think the winner of the Spurs/Suns matchup would be the winner of the title. I'm feelings confident in the Spurs. I won't be at any games, but maybe the parade? If so, I'll take some pictures for ya Jimmy. :) Go Spurs Go!

James do they require tickets or admission to attend the parade at the Riverwalk, or can anyone be there? That might be a stupid question, but just clear me out on that.

If the Spurs play the Cavs, then I really don't see a Game 6; I think the Spurs should close it out at Cleveland in five games. If the Spurs play the Pistons, then I see a full seven game series going either way just as the 2005 Finals did.

Well if it's the same as it was in 1999 (the last parade I went to) then it's a free-for-all. I wouldn't plan on getting a good seat though unless I camped out on the Riverwalk the night before!

Parade is free. It gets really crowded down there though. It makes for a fun time.

Well game 2 is tomorrow and I will be going to the game. I can't wait. My moms work has season tickets, so we are able to go. I've been to one other playoff game this year and that was against the Suns game 6. I've been to the two championship clinching games in the AT&T Center also. I'll hopefully be allowed to go to game 6 here or 7, If the Spurs are able to win it at home. I'll try and take some pictures for yall.
