Rating system on sfftnet.com

I was curious to as how the rating system works. I notice that some users have "honorary member" regular member" or "senior member" listed below their names.

Is this system also based off of the one at sixflagshouston.com ? I know theirs is based on the number of posts you put on the forum.

Well i discovered that I am a regular member. How did I get that?

The Honorary Membership is a little different than a simple post rank (ex. sixflagshouston). Basically we award this title to members who have contributed to both the site and forums in a positive manner. Most of the honorary members are either selected for their excellence in the growth of the forum, contribution to the site (updates, news, photos, etc), or have helped the site in the past (old friends or owners of affiliated websites).

If you keep contributing to the site, eventually we may review you for a membership upgrade.
