Question Where is everybody?

Wow--I noticed there's hardly anyone posting on this site in the past
week or so......seems like a ghost town!
Hope it's just 'cuz everyone's enjoying themselves at SFFT!

I am certainly enjoying myself at the park this year. I have met many amazing people at Fiesta Texas this summer! Likewise I think this forum can be a powerful tool for park regulars like myself to communicate and even get to know each other. GravyDavey, it seems that lately it is you and I sharing our experiences with Stacy and a few other random folks commenting and replying every now and then. SFFTNET.COM can be so much more if we'd only use it!

Thanks--Yeah, it's usually busier than this, but I think it's just because it's vacation
time for many....or something like that.

Well i haven't been on i a while, and I'm sure others haven't been, because well usually more people are on-site when there's a new attraction or something major changing at the park.

Yes, that's exactly it. There are a few 'core' members who come to the site at least a few times a week if not every day, but for the most part the traffic is slow until something *major* happens. Throughout the year there are slow periods and heavy traffic periods.

As for me, I haven't been on a lot in the last week or so because I've been away from the house quite a bit, and we were out of town last weekend.

By 'core' I just mean those few members that check in at least a few times a week, if not daily, whether there's something going on or not. Yes, that would be the die-hards. lol

Nothing much going on... just a 'normal' summer (if you can call 104 on a daily basis 'normal'... lol)

I think a 104 summer is far from being normal.

I have been so busy with work and traveling that I haven't had the time to visit Fiesta Texas or the site. Ive been working 30 hours ~ week to help pay for a new car, which is a lot of hours for me. Did hit a lot of coasters in Florida and TN/GA though!

I have been staying away from the park due to Texas heat. Have not made a trip since May. We did go to SFOG and Cedar Point in June and July. It was awesome. But cant wait to get back to SFFT maybe in Sept. I love the park in Oct when the weather is a little more forgiving. Cant wait to see whats in store for Holiday in the Park !!!

Of course, the original thread was about this website forum---why so few postings a few
weeks ago....We're still going to the park--even in the heat.

I've been to the parks when it was 113 degrees and still had a blast! I think 101 (forecasted) on Monday is very much manageable for me.

Yeah, we went to Carillon Beach near Ft. Walton... NW Panhandle. No parks anywhere near there. I have friends in Lake Buena Vista and they were blowin up my phone with TxT messages asking me if I could come down for a day. Three days on the beach were nice though. I was glad to be back to my home, my city, and my park.

I am so glad to be back in the swing o' things here in San Antonio. And I think I've posted about 10 or so posts online today only. . . Definitely back in the action and ready for the fall season at Fiesta Texas!
