Question Deleting Spamers
Can admin start monitoring and deleting users who are SPAMers?
With all the SPAM posts, it sure messes up new post searches.

yes yes, we usually check often and delete/ban the users. They just have been really, really bad lately. The thing that annoys me the most is that there is a captcha during registration.

I just deleted a big batch. Send an email to feedback[at]fiestatexas.net if you notice that we are not keeping on top of it.

I know, and I can't stop it without making the forums more difficult to use.

The best thing you can do is click the report icon. When I get the email, I generally remove it as fast as possible.

Sorry, I don't post here much. However, I run a vBulletin site and we use the vbstopforumspam plugin. It seems to really work well.

I've made some improvements that will hopefully cut down on the spammers. Hopefully we see some results. Thank you to those who have reported posts.

It looks like guests were still able to reply to threads in this forum, so that's been fixed (I thought I got rid of that a long time ago, guess not)...

I've noticed a decline in the number of registered spammers since I added some anti-spam plugins...
