Default SFOT Coasters

I think the best coaster right now at SFOT is the revamped Texas Giant. I usually love to ride coasters "hands up", but this is the first coaster I've been on that pops you up on the tops of hills with such force that, if I don't hold on with my hands, the restraints hurt the tops of my legs! This coaster is fast, smooth, and extreme! It reminds me a little of the original Rattler at SFFT, before they repeatedly "defanged" it.

After that, I think it's a tie between Titan and Mr. Freeze. Titan is a great, fast, smooth, traditional metal track coaster. Mr. Freeze was similar to Poltergeist at SFFT, but at the beginning of this season they turned the coaster trains around, so it now does the catapult launch with you sitting backwards! At the halfway point, your back is straight up toward the sky, and you are then facing straight down, as the coaster begins to go the other way, and you fall straight down, and end up rushing back through a fog screen into the station, before you slam to a stop.

The rest of the coasters, IMHO, are B or C grade. But ride as many as you can, and then post a trip report, and let us all know what you think!

I hardly ever drive Flashback on my trips to the recreation area now. But I keep in mind in the beginning 2000s when it, Shockwave, Judge and Texas Giant, were the only "main" coasters in the recreation area. We all believed Flashback was great!
