The malicious Mayor Slayer and his ghoulish entourage of blood-sucking vampires and frightening henchmen have invaded Fiesta Texas and made it their home. Look for them throughout the Park as they wander the streets and walkways aimlessly looking to find their next victim. Fright Fest invades Six Flags Fiesta Texas and transforms a once peaceful Park into a spooky and frightening sight. Fright Fest dares to scare every Saturday from noon to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. starting October 8 and continuing through October 30, 2005.

The malicious Mayor Slayer and his ghoulish entourage of blood-sucking vampires and frightening henchmen have invaded Fiesta Texas and made it their home. Look for them throughout the Park as they wander the streets and walkways aimlessly looking to find their next victim. In the tradition of excellence, Fiesta Texas offers the most spectacular, fun-filled award-winning shows that are great for the entire family. For six consecutive years Six Flags Fiesta Texas has won Amusement Today’s “Golden Ticket Award” for “Best Theme Park Shows in the Country.”

Guests looking for a “fright” time may want to take a tour through the haunted city of the dead, Necropolis. Guests enter through the Terror Trolley Station, where a pack of crazy clowns await them and lead these unsuspecting victims to the Trolley Loading Dock. Guests are then escorted by the evil conductor through the Frightening City, before ending up at the haunted stores of Metropolitan Maul. (Note: Necropolis will be in full operation Saturdays and Sundays throughout Fright Fest from 3 p.m. to Park closing. There is an additional fee associated with Necropolis, in addition to Park admission. Necropolis is not recommended for children or easily frightened adults.)

Fiesta Texas always provides astonishing shows for the entire family. Make sure you experience Mayor Slayer’s Monster Mash Bash at Lone Star Lil’s Amphitheater. This great after-dark performance consists of 22 singing and dancing monsters, pyrotechnics, a live band and tons of special effects! Featuring some of your favorite hits such as “Enter Sandman,” “Are You Gonna Be My Girl,” “In The End” and “Vertigo.”

It’s the return of the living…legends? Re-live some great memories or experience them for a first time with Last Chance Legends at the Zaragoza Theater. Join some of your old favorite artist’s such as Sonny Booboo, Mama Casket and Mortisha Monroe as they return from the grave and pay a visit to Six Flags Fiesta Texas to give one final performance. Sing and dance to music selections with a frightening twist such as “All Dug Up,” “Deadly Woman” and “Creeping After Midnight.”

Not frightened yet? Check out Mr. Slithers Creepy Critters at the Sundance Theater. Get an informative, up-close look at the scary and amazing creatures that inhabit the world of Fright Fest. A new creature to inhabit the Fright Fest world is a rare spotted owl with a wingspan of six feet. Guests may also get their picture taken with a 20-foot python.

It’s the Return of Wolfman Hack’s Creature Feature, taking place at Sangerfest Halle. Sing along with Wolfie, Dracula and the rest of the gang to classic Fright Fest hits such as “Cold Hearted Snake,” “Oh, “Franky” You’re So Fine” and “Monster Mash.”

Watch your child’s face “brighten” instead of “frighten” at the Looney Tunes Spooky Town, located in “Scary Elementary” (Rockville High). Little ones will have an opportunity to meet, greet and trick-or-treat with their favorite Looney Tunes pals. There will also be pumpkin painting and cookie decorating available for a nominal fee at the Spooky Coooky Pumpkin Town, across the street from Scary Elementary.

In addition to award-winning shows Fiesta Texas is also proud to have an award-winning coaster, the Superman Krypton Coaster. Receiving the Golden Ticket Award for “Best Floorless Coaster,” this coaster is sure to stimulate your senses with its six dynamic inversions and is one of the many Park attractions available for Fright Fest.
